The Building Block program is a life-changing opportunity for incarcerated individuals in Danville Correctional Center (Illinois). When filmmaker Phil Gioja asked me if I could help to set music to this important story (on a two-week deadline by the way), I immediately said yes. It brings a “pensive, pop, and commercial music” approach to the storytelling.
